look to motortrend, they have 3,000,000 subscribers, and so jalopnik needs to have a roadkill-esque show, I think it should contain demuro and orlove, Doug picks a car out from carmax, orlove proceeds to roll the car into a ditch, then they pull the car out of a ditch, and then demuro proceeds to take the car to carmax, and they see how much carmax will pay to fix.

Another show could be Jason searching for stolen cars, bringing them back to their owners and then talk them into an ls swap to replace the stolen engine of their Camry.

They could always take my idea for Jalopnik Nights and have it be about a crack team of automotive journalists running around doing like secret agent stuff while having cool nicknames. Here was my original pitch on the article PG wrote about the mazda miata in person -

Coming this spring....Patrick George - Hardened criminal turned auto reporter. He gets the scoop, or you get the shiv. Hotwiring miatas and mingling at film festivals while trying to evade Virginia's finest? Just a typical day in his world. With his cohorts "Hardibird" and Raphael "Upside Down" Orlove, they do whatever it takes for the love of journalism and justice in the automotive world. Don't miss Spring's newest action crime drama "Jalopnik Nights" Tuesday nights at 9 on NBC.
